Are the enzymes used in FFL derived from plants or animals?

The enzymes are from fungi so are vegetarian friendly.

Can people with nut allergies consume FFL?

There is no cross contamination of peanuts in the facility.

What about other nuts?^
Pumpkin protein IS pumpkin seed protein.  Generally pumpkin seeds are not as allergenic as other nuts/seeds, however, you should make the decision for your own body. There are no cross-reaction to other contaminants (walnuts, almonds, etc) at the facility.

Can someone with a dairy intolerance consume FFL?

The grass-fed whey is from New Zealand and the UK and the standards on growing and caring for livestock is so much more strict than the US. We have hundreds of reviews and testimonies of people with “dairy allergies” that have no issues with FFL and are so excited to be able to consume this Organic Food.  It’s also gently dried instead of overly processed…that’s prob why people can tolerate it. But of course every “body” is different…

Is this made in a factory that also processes gluten?

The facility does run products with gluten. However, they have a validated cleaning process by which they wet clean machines to ensure there aren't any allergens left after cleaning. Once the machines are cleaned by this validated process, they test and verify the cleaning by using an ATP test to make sure that there are not any allergens on the machine by moving forward with the next product. Once the product is completed, they test for gluten at 20 PPM. As per US FDA, gluten at or below 20 PPM, is considered gluten free.

 Are the ingredients organic too, or just grass-fed?

Our FFL is made with the highest quality of ingredients, including 100% grass-fed, non-GMO, no antibiotics, and glyphosate residue free whey. We found the highest quality, even though it does not have the USDA symbol on it, since the price and popularity of whey has increased. We have tested it for everything.  Up until last year, collagen actually was not able to be qualified "organic," just because of the process to make it from the hide. Now, certified "organic" collagen is very difficult to source, and has a shortage currently, so instead we have gone with the highest quality we could find, just without the organic certified label on it.

Why is there a “warning” on the bag?

The Prop 65 statement is required by law when any company sells products in the state of California.  The warning is seen on products that contain ingredients that come from the ground, as these ingredients could contain very trace amounts of metals.  The warning scares and confuses a lot of people, but unfortunately it is the law.  The prop 65 warning is so common in the state of California that it can even be found on every single elevator, parking garage, grocery store, furniture store, organic pasta, lightbulbs, T-shirts, coffee and many nutritional supplements (if they are abiding by the law).

The Prop 65 regulation is extremely strict, as California has the strictest heavy metal testing in the world.  For example, fresh spinach naturally contains around 5.2 micrograms of lead in a serving, which exceeds the Prop 65 levels by 10 times!! All of our heavy metal testing has absolutely passed the World Health Organization allowable levels, so we wouldn't need to put the "warning" on the bag but we keep the Prop 65 warning on our products just because we sell in California.
